About Us

Horizon Systems is a Texas corporation established in 1998 to provide engineering and design consulting services to high-tech industrial clients. We develop products and provide specialized design, analysis and integration expertise to help technical leaders reduce cost, improve performance and bring their products to market.

Horizon Systems, Inc. is licensed to provide professional engineering services by the state of Texas. We work off-site to keep your overhead low. If you prefer, we can also work on-site to give you the continuous feedback you want.

Tools

To provide you with technical solutions, we use the latest software tools. These include SolidWorks, Inventor and AutoCAD for modeling, design and development, MSC NASTRAN and MacroFlow for structural and thermal analysis and numerous custom programs for simulations.

Other software tools include WinTherm, MATHCAD, and tools developed specifically to solve client’s problems. Contact us for more information or if you have specific requirements.

The President of Horizon Systems, Inc. is Al Gienger. Mr. Gienger is a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and has over thirty years of industrial experience in various management and engineering positions. As a member of the American Society for Mechanical Engineers, he has served as the chair of both the North Texas Section and the North Texas Electronics Packaging Technical Section. He is also a member of the Institute for Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
